I bought my Horned Frog a few months ago from my local pet store. From the moment I bought him I found him an interesting and exciting pet, and surprisingly personable, even if he was a little scary at times. Recently he went into what I thought was hibernation, as he had burrowed into the soil, which is something he's done before. However this morning I found he had resurfaced, and was not breathing! He was also a little shriveled up, but not much. I've had frogs die on me before so I am convinced that he has died, which is a great shame. But before I bury him I just want to make sure that this is not just some form of aestivation and he is still alive, because I can't think of anything worse than burying him if he is not dead!
Can anyone answer my question? If so I'd be very grateful.
Please reply soon so I can bury him as soon as possible if I need to. I don't want him to decompose in my living room!
